DATAMARK is growing! We're seeking detail-oriented Customs Clerks to support critical back-office customs processing operations on our second shift team. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with documentation, problem-solving, and making informed decisions based on detailed information.

This position goes beyond traditional data entry. Successful candidates will review and interpret shipment documentation, apply tariff classifications, ensure compliance with customs regulations, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Review and process shipping and customs documentation accurately and efficiently
• Analyze manifests and supporting shipment documents
• Apply tariff codes and make decisions based on classification guidelines
• Enter and update information across multiple systems and applications
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and internal procedures
• Conduct research and interpret information to resolve discrepancies
• Meet quality and productivity standards while maintaining accuracy

Requirements

Success in this position requires judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to interpret complex information.

• Ability to work a second-shift schedule of 4:00 PM-12:30 AM, Monday through Friday.
• Prior logistics, customs, or data processing experience is highly preferred
• Strong computer literacy (comfortable working in multiple systems and forms)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational skills and time management
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team setting
• 45 WPM typing speed with 98% accuracy
• 6000 KPH data entry speed with 98% accuracy
• Ability to interpret documentation and make informed decisions
• High School Diploma, or equivalent
