The Opportunity

Culture & Leadership Excellence Program Manager will play a key role in advancing HPE's culture and leadership priorities across India and the broader APJ region. This individual will support the design, coordination, implementation, and continuous improvement of initiatives that strengthen leadership effectiveness, foster psychological safety and inclusion, enhance team member engagement, and activate culture locally.

Working closely with business leaders, HR partners, and members of the global Culture & Engagement team, this role will help translate enterprise priorities into meaningful regional and local experiences that drive engagement, connection, and business impact.

The successful candidate will be highly collaborative, organized, and results-oriented, with strong program management capabilities and a passion for creating environments where people and teams thrive.

What you’ll do:

Key Responsibilities

Culture Activation & Team member Experience

  • Design and deliver culture initiatives that strengthen connection, collaboration, psychological safety, and inclusion across HPE.
  • Partner with local HR and business leaders to activate culture priorities within India and support broader APJ initiatives.
  • Develop and execute local team member experiences, engagement programs, site activations, and cultural moments that reinforce HPE's values and desired leadership behaviors.
  • Create tools, resources, and activation plans that help embed culture priorities into the team member experience.
  • Gather team member feedback and recommend actions that improve culture, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.

Leadership Excellence

  • Support the design and delivery of leadership excellence programs focused on people leader effectiveness, coaching, team engagement, accountability, and leadership capability.
  • Develop leadership resources, toolkits, communication materials, and action-planning tools that enable people leaders to create high-performing teams.
  • Coordinate leadership workshops, speaker sessions, leadership forums, learning experiences, and development programs.
  • Partner with leaders and HR teams to reinforce leadership behaviors that strengthen trust, collaboration, engagement, and inclusion.

Psychological Safety & Inclusion

  • Support initiatives that foster respectful, inclusive, and psychologically safe work environments.
  • Develop resources and guidance that help leaders create environments where team members feel comfortable sharing ideas, providing feedback, and contributing diverse perspectives.
  • Partner across HR functions to integrate psychological safety and inclusion practices into culture and leadership programs.

Program Management & Coordination

  • Lead project coordination across multiple Culture & Leadership Excellence initiatives, ensuring milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items are effectively managed.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, governance documents, dashboards, and status reports.
  • Drive accountability by proactively tracking deliverables, following up on commitments, and ensuring timely execution of agreed actions.
  • Coordinate work across multiple stakeholder groups, functions, and regions to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
  • Identify risks, challenges, and opportunities and recommend practical solutions to maintain momentum.

Communications & Engagement Campaigns

  • Develop communication plans and engagement campaigns that support culture, leadership, and team member experience initiatives.
  • Create presentations, leader communications, talking points, toolkits, newsletters, promotional materials, and engagement content.
  • Support internal communication efforts that drive awareness, participation, adoption, and action.
  • Develop executive-ready materials and updates for leadership audiences.

Events, Logistics & Execution

  • Plan and execute team member engagement events, leadership forums, workshops, listening sessions, culture activations, and team member experiences.
  • Manage event logistics, schedules, communications, vendors, registrations, and participant experiences.
  • Ensure successful execution of both virtual and in-person programs and events.
  • Facilitate sessions and confidently present to team member and leadership audiences.
  • Maintain project documentation, tracking tools, repositories, and operational records.

Reporting & Insights

  • Analyze team member engagement data, program metrics, survey results, and feedback to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Translate data and insights into actionable recommendations that improve leader and team member experiences.
  • Support measurement and continuous improvement efforts across Culture & Leadership Excellence programs.

Local Culture Activation – India

  • Serve as a key Culture & Leadership Excellence partner for India.
  • Partner with site leadership and local HR teams to activate HPE's culture strategy through locally relevant programs and experiences.
  • Help deliver leadership engagements, recognition initiatives, team member forums, cultural celebrations, and engagement activities.
  • Gather local insights and feedback to help shape future programs and initiatives.
  • Support regional culture and leadership priorities across APJ as needed.

AI-Enabled Innovation & Operational Excellence

  • Demonstrates an AI-first mindset, proactively using AI tools to improve efficiency, strengthen work products, generate insights, and enhance program delivery.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance the delivery of the programs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve team member and people leader experiences through AI-enabled solutions, personalized communications, targeted engagement approaches.

  • Increased Culture Blueprint awareness, adoption, and demonstrated leadership behaviors across the enterprise.
  • Improved leadership readiness to lead AI-enabled teams and navigate organizational transformation.

  • Measurable improvements in team member feedback indicators related to trust, psychological safety, engagement, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Increased utilization and effectiveness of AI-enabled tools, insights, and interventions supporting culture and leadership outcomes.

What you need to bring:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 6-8 years of experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Team member Experience, Culture, Leadership Development, Change Management, Communications, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex cross-functional projects and programs.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience coordinating stakeholders across global and matrixed organizations.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience developing communications, engagement campaigns, and leadership materials.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into action.
  • Experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration technologies to manage programs and communicate results.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones and cultures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting culture, team member engagement, team member experience, and/or leadership development programs.
  • Experience planning and executing team member or leadership events and experiences.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, learning programs, or team member engagement sessions.
  • Knowledge of leadership effectiveness, psychological safety, organizational culture, team member listening, and change management principles.
  • Project Management, Change Management, Facilitation, or Coaching certifications are a plus.
