Position Start Date: August 1, 2027
Required Degree: Ph.D. in School Psychology
The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Preferred Experience:
• Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching graduate-level courses in school psychology content areas
• Strong record or clear potential for high-quality research in school psychology
• Experience or strong potential for mentoring and advising graduate students in field-based work and research
• Demonstrated excellence in working as a school psychologist in educational settings
• Licensure or potential for licensure as a psychologist and/or school psychologist
Duties/Expectations:
• Teach graduate courses in school psychology
• Mentor and supervise students in the Educational Specialist (EdS) program
• Conduct independent research
• Active engagement in ongoing enhancement to improve program outcomes and student
experiences
• Support the work of the BYU-Public School Partnership (https://byupartnership.org/)
• Support university, college, and department goals and mission (see: https://www.byu.edu/about)
