About this Counsel, Federal Government Contracting role at Accenture Federal Services
You are
An experienced federal contracts attorney and strategic legal advisor to Business and Sales leadership in shaping and executing Accenture Federal Services’ (AFS) market-facing strategies. This attorney will focus on U.S. federal procurements and government contracting matters, supporting the company’s federal business from opportunity identification and capture through proposal, contract award, performance, modification, and closeout. The role will work closely with business leaders, sales and capture teams, contracts professionals, finance, security, compliance, procurement, and other corporate functions to identify and manage legal and regulatory risks while enabling the company to pursue and deliver innovative technology and consulting solutions to federal customers.
This manager-level counsel position will be a practical, business-oriented attorney who understands that the role of in-house counsel is not simply to identify legal issues, but to help the business understand its options, make informed decisions, and execute effectively. The successful candidate will become a trusted partner to the company’s federal business. Rather than serving solely as a contract reviewer, this attorney will be embedded in the business and will help teams identify issues early, understand practical options, structure transactions appropriately, and move opportunities forward while protecting the company’s interests. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in situations where the answer is not simply "yes" or "no" and can distinguish between legal requirements, contractual obligations, business preferences, and manageable commercial risk.
