About this Corporate Sales Manager, Tecovas Work role at Tecovas
Tecovas was founded with the simple goal of making the world's best western boots, apparel and leather goods - and selling them at a fair price. We are a brand revolutionizing a category and welcoming first-time boot buyers and western enthusiasts alike.
Tecovas is looking for a Corporate Sales Manager, Tecovas Work, to build and grow industrial business for our Corporate Sales channel. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Sales, you will own outbound prospecting, new business acquisition, and commercial relationships with customers in construction, data centers, oil and gas, utilities, infrastructure, and the trades. Tecovas Work is a growing category for the brand, and the accounts you open in this role will help define what it becomes.
This role is required to be based in Austin, TX. Candidates must either be currently located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX. Regular travel is expected and will flex with the business and the season, including both flying and driving. Expect time in corporate offices, on job sites, in yards, and at industry events.
What you’ll do:
- Carry and deliver an individual revenue target within the Corporate Sales business
- Set quarterly and annual goals with the Director of Corporate Sales.
- Forecast accurately, keep the CRM current, and report pipeline health, wins, and losses to leadership.
- Build the Tecovas Work Corporate Sale business from the ground up
- Prospect, qualify, and open new B2B accounts through outreach, referrals, industry events, and networking.
- Target new accounts with general contractors, subcontractors, data center operators and builders, energy, oil & gas companies, utilities, infrastructure and heavy civil firms, and any employer that puts its people in boots.
- Structure footwear programs that fit how industrial customers buy, including allowance and voucher programs, bulk crew orders, on-site fittings, and recurring replenishment.
- Own the relationship & sell the entire program into your accounts
- Lead with Tecovas Work, then expand into branded apparel and products, corporate gifting, off-site fitting events, and recurring corporate accounts.
- Own the full sales cycle from first touch to shipped order. Negotiate and structure deals, including volume-based discount tiers, within approved pricing and margin guidelines.
- Stay the commercial owner of every account. Own the growth plan, the annual reorder conversation, and the pricing relationship.
- Convert a first crew order into a company-wide program with a real supply cadence.
- Show up in person. Travel nationally to prospect and be present for your customers at meetings and events.
Experience we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a record of hitting or exceeding new business revenue goals.
- Industrial selling experience is strongly preferred. Ideal backgrounds include safety footwear, PPE, workwear and uniform programs, industrial and safety distribution, building materials, or equipment and services sold to general contractors, energy companies, or utilities.
- Working knowledge of how industrial customers buy footwear: safety standards, allowance and voucher programs, procurement cycles, and the role of EHS and site leadership in the decision.
- Proven outbound prospecting experience. You have built a book from a cold start, not just worked inbound leads. You have sourced, closed, and retained your own accounts.
- Experience selling a physical product or program to corporate buyers, including workwear, industrial and safety, uniform or corporate apparel, hospitality group sales, or premium consumer brands.
- Strong financial and business acumen. Fluent in margin, pricing tiers, and deal structure.
- Proficiency with CRM and pipeline management, plus Excel, Word, and Google Suite. Experience with various e-commerce platforms and systems.
- Willing and able to travel nationally as the business requires, including occasional evenings and weekends.
What you bring to the table:
- You are energized by opening doors, building relationships from the ground up, and earning customer trust.
- You are comfortable showing up in the field, whether that means walking a job site, attending an industry event, or sitting across the table from a customer to understand what their teams really need.
- You bring a builder’s mindset, strong follow-through, and the grit to turn a first crew order into a repeatable, scalable Tecovas Work program.
- You understand industrial buyers, safety needs, and complex customer decision-making.
Full Time Benefits & Perks:
- We offer insurance plans that pay 79-90% of your health premium coverage and 100% of your dental & vision insurance coverage for your family/dependents
- 401(k) match
- Paid Parental Leave
- Flexible PTO policy
- Corporate wellness program
- Competitive salary - $100,000-115,000/annum (commensurate with experience)
- Eligibility to participate in Corporate Bonus Program
- Generous employee discounts!
