About this Corporate Coverage Analyst role at NatWest Group
Join us as an Analyst in Corporate Coverage, Stockholm
- The Corporate Coverage team services Nordic Large Corporate clients working together with local product colleagues in Debt Capital Markets and Rate Risk Management while also working closely with other product teams and subject matter experts across Europe and the UK
- You'll be learning from industry experts, developing excellent relationship management and technical banking skills, as well as expanding your professional network in an international context
- It's an opportunity for you to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, collaborating and working as part of a team whilst also beginning to establish external relationships with our clients underpinned by strong technical knowledge in a wide range of products
What you'll do
This role will see you helping to originate and execute business opportunities across a wide range of financing and risk solutions products. You'll be collaborating closely with teams across NatWest Bank and NatWest Markets to do this, both in the UK and across Europe.
Through the course of your work, you'll be:
- Supporting the coverage team with managing client relationships and origination for our Nordic large corporate clients
- Preparing client materials and conducting company and industrial sector research, peer analyses, and business origination activities
- Understanding and monitoring credit risk development for our key clients and supporting internal capital and credit approval processes
- Working on customer due diligence and KYC (Know Your Customer) for new and existing clients, and other ad-hoc requests
- Working closely with colleagues across the bank to ensure the highest quality of service is delivered
- Promoting and representing the bank in the local and regional community including supporting local client events
The skills you'll need
We're looking for someone with knowledge of financing and an interest in corporate credit and capital markets. You'll have strong communication and interpersonal skills, together with a collaborative approach to successfully working with a wide variety of teams across the organisation.
You'll also need:
- The ability to deliver high quality materials and service both internally and externally with clients, often working to tight deadlines
- The ability to successfully work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks while working as part of a team
- Fluency in English and a Nordic language
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work
- Good PowerPoint and Excel skills as well as the ability to apply AI tools
