Reporting to the Senior Lead, Training & Development Mine Operations, the Coordinator, Training, Mine Operations is responsible for coordinating, developing, and delivering training programs that support operational excellence and workforce competency in Mine Operations.
This role combines classroom, simulator, computer-based, and field-based instruction, while ensuring training records, schedules, and programs meet site and business requirements.

Lastly, this role requires an energetic team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt and prioritize contending demands in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will:
Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
Promote and support EVR's health, safety, and environmental standards
Coordinate and deliver technical, operational, and developmental training programs
Facilitate classroom, simulator, computer-based, and hands-on equipment training
Develop, maintain, and update training materials, lesson plans, and competency assessments
Deliver training aligned with standard operating procedures, safe work practices, and OEM requirements
Assess training needs and recommend learning solutions to support business priorities
Develop and revise standard practices and procedures in alignment with site and regional standards
Maintain accurate training schedules, records, and documentation
Requirements:
Minimum three years of open-pit mining experience
Demonstrated operating and training experience on:
Caterpillar D10/D11 Dozers
Caterpillar Graders
Komatsu 830E and 930E Haul Trucks
Experience delivering workplace training, coaching, or competency development programs
Strong organizational, communication, and facilitation skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (or equivalent)
Salary: $108,000 - $128,000 CAD/year
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
