Your Opportunity 

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality food products while supporting the efficient operation of our catering services. Working closely with the Food Services Manager and kitchen teams, you will oversee food preparation, maintain food safety standards and contribute to a positive customer experience. 

You will play a key role in ensuring production schedules are achieved, food quality is maintained and team members are supported to deliver exceptional outcomes. 

With professionalism, leadership and a commitment to quality, you will: 

Food Preparation & Service Delivery 

  • Prepare, cook and present high-quality meals in line with production schedules and customer requirements 

  • Ensure food is prepared, handled and stored safely in accordance with HACCP standards 

  • Ensure production and distribution deadlines are met efficiently and accurately 

  • Lead by example and contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture 

 

Food Safety & Compliance 

  • Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness 

  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, WHS and food handling requirements 

  • Monitor cleaning and sanitation practices within designated work areas 

  • Maintain equipment and workspaces in a safe and hygienic condition 

Quality & Continuous Improvement 

  • Monitor ingredients, preparation methods and storage procedures 

  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction 

Safety & Workplace Culture 

  • Promote safe work practices and a positive workplace culture 

  • Report hazards, incidents and risks in accordance with organisational requirements 

What You'll Bring 

You are a passionate Cook who takes pride in delivering quality food and creating positive customer experiences. 

What's Required 

  • Commercial Cookery Certificate or equivalent qualification 

  • Minimum 4 years' experience within hospitality, catering or food production environments 

  • Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP and workplace health and safety requirements 

What’s Preferred  

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills 

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills 

  • Competent spoken and written English
