The Meadows of Napa is looking for an experienced and passionate Cook III to join our dining services team. Our cooks play an important role in creating enjoyable dining experiences for our residents by preparing fresh, delicious meals while meeting a variety of dietary needs.

$29 - $31 per hour DOE

What You’ll Do

• Prepare delicious, high-quality meals for our residents.
• Prepare meals that meet a variety of dietary needs, including therapeutic and modified diets.
• Follow menus, recipes, portion guidelines, and dietary requirements accurately.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures.
• Keep the kitchen and work areas clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Work closely with the dining services team to ensure meals are prepared and served on time.
• Contribute to a positive, respectful and team-oriented kitchen environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• 6 or more years of experience as a Cook, Lead Cook, or Sous Chef.
• Experience preparing therapeutic and modified diets.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, sanitation, and food-handling practices.
• Successful completion of a recognized food safety course may be required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• A positive attitude and genuine desire to serve our residents.
