Job Description
About the role
We're looking for a Contracts Administrator to join our team on the Lumsden Point project in Port Hedland. You'll support the commercial and delivery teams by administering subcontracts, supplier agreements and project contract documentation from commencement through to close-out.
Key responsibilities
- Administer subcontracts, purchase orders and supplier agreements, including preparing, issuing and tracking documentation
- Manage contract correspondence, notices, variations and extension of time claims in line with contract requirements
- Assist with progress claims, payment certificates and subcontractor payment processing
- Maintain contract registers, records and reporting
- Support tender evaluations and subcontractor engagement
- Monitor insurances, bonds, guarantees and compliance obligations
- Work closely with project, commercial and procurement teams to flag contractual risk early
Required Skills and Competencies
- Previous experience in contracts administration within construction, civil or infrastructure
- Working knowledge of Australian standard form contracts (AS 4000 / AS 2124 or similar)
- Strong attention to detail, with clear written and verbal communication
- Competent in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Tertiary qualification in commerce, law, construction management or a related field is desirable
