The role:

As a Contractor Coordinator, you will help drive our goals by:

  • Provide coordination and oversight of all third-party contractor activities related to project, maintenance, testing, and inspection work undertaken on site.
  • Review and agree contractor EHS plans, Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), and safe systems of work with contractors and relevant site stakeholders prior to work commencement.
  • Act as the key liaison between contractors, Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and EHS teams to ensure effective communication and safe execution of contracted work.
  • Ensure full compliance with JM policies, procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and applicable Indian EHS legislation for all contractor activities conducted on site.
  • Monitor contractor performance through inspections, audits, incident management, and performance reporting to promote safe working practices and continuous improvement.
  • Support the application of contractor management best practices through effective contractor onboarding, competency verification, compliance assurance, and performance governance.

Required Qualification and Experience:

  • Relevant experience required of 6 to 8 Years.
  • Experience of managing 3rd party contractors in a EHS/Project/Maintenance supervisory role or Equivalent.
  • Degree qualification in an Engineering discipline.
  • Experience of working in a 24/7 operation environment.
  • Experience of permit to work systems.
