Job Description:
Supports the Consumer Closure for Cause process within the Global AML organization through case decisioning, risk assessment, and escalation management. Partners closely with business function leaders, Process Owners, SMEs, and other lines of business (LOBs) to evaluate closure recommendations received from Global Financial Crimes and ensure decisions are consistent, well-supported, and aligned with AML requirements and the Consumer risk appetite. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and the ability to assess complex customer activity and business considerations. This role requires effective collaboration across multiple stakeholders to facilitate informed closure decisions, resolve escalated matters, and address high-risk or sensitive cases. Responsibilities include reviewing closure recommendation cases, conducting risk-based analysis, documenting decision rationales, managing case inventories, and coordinating with key business and risk partners to obtain information necessary for decisioning. The candidate will also handle escalated inquiries related to the Closure for Cause process.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years AML or Global Financial Crimes experience
- Advanced written, verbal, presentation and delivery skills
- Highly organized with strong multi-tasking ability
- Makes timely and fact-based decisions with ability to defend position
- Ability to challenge and influence others
- Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward
- Accountable, able to work independently, set goals and meet deadlines
- Follow-through and consistency, delivers on commitments and closes the loop

- Expert Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
