We are seeking a talented individual to join our Rewards team at Mercer Malaysia. This role will be based in our Pavilion Damansara Corporate Towers, Kuala Lumpur office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working as per respective team's arrangement.

• A team in Rewards within a Human Resource Consulting firm is responsible for designing and implementing compensation and benefits programs for clients.

• They analyze market data and industry trends to develop competitive salary structures and incentive plans.

• The team also provides guidance on employee recognition programs and helps clients ensure their rewards strategies align with their overall business objectives.

We will count on you to:

• Prepare and structure client’s presentations/reports including performing data analysis and draw conclusions.

• Review and/or develop exhibits based on collected and calculated data comprises of understanding project components and processes.

• Applies computer and research skills to understand financial performance, talent management trends, and pay practices and policies.

• Oversee the development of methodology by analysts and manage small to medium engagements.

• Provides guidance to project team analysts and ensures timely delivery of work and achievement of project objectives.

• May manage smaller projects and workstreams of larger client projects while providing guidance to project team analysts and ensure timely delivery of work and achievement of project objectives.

• Deliver high-quality client presentations and communicate recommendations confidently to stakeholders.

• Demonstrate ownership, responsiveness and a strong sense of urgency in delivering client work.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience with strong exposure to Total Rewards

• 2 – 3 years of consulting experience is highly preferred

• Candidates with a combination of in-house Rewards and consulting experience will also be considered

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong proficiency in formulas, data analysis and handling large datasets

• Strong PowerPoint presentation skills

• Exposure to data analytics or visualization tools (Power BI) would be an advantage

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented to comprehend and summarize appropriate information

• Able to network and present sales pitch to key leaders in large organizations
