Key Responsibilities

·       Conduct environmental modelling, e.g., coastal modelling, air quality modelling, noise modelling to support environmental studies across Asia-Pacific jurisdictions.

·       Carry out data analytics using appropriate software to support impact assessments.

·       Prepare Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan in alignment with national and international standards.

·       Contribute to the preparation of Environmental and Social Management Plans (EMP/ESMP) for key environmental parameters.

·       Conduct environmental due diligence and assessments aligned with international standards (Equator Principles, IFC, ADB, World Bank, JBIC).

·       Develop corrective action plans for compliance gaps.

·       Collaborate with ERM global and regional teams to deliver multi-office EIA/ESIA projects.

·       Able to carry out data analytics and GIS work to support impact assessment and reporting.

·       Preferably work on impact prediction and analysis models/software relevant to APAC projects.

Requirements:

·       B.Tech/M.Tech in Environmental Engineering OR Master’s in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, or related discipline.

·       5–9 years of experience in EIA/ESIA studies and modelling assessments.

·       Previous consultancy experience with multi-disciplinary teams focusing on environmental assessments with use of modelling tools.

·       Practical knowledge of quantitative analysis tools & possess data analytical skills that can be readily applied for data analysis and modelling work.

·       Strong background in environmental planning and impact assessment, advising private and government clients across APAC.

·       Excellent report writing and communication skills; fluency in English is mandatory.

·       Additional fluency in Asian languages (Mandarin, Bahasa, Japanese) and foreign languages (French/Spanish) is a plus.

·       Willingness to travel extensively across Asia-Pacific, including fieldwork for periods exceeding 2 weeks.
