We are building the enterprise payments infrastructure of Latin America!

What we are looking for:

As a Compliance & Due Diligence Analyst you will play a dual role at Cobre: you will serve as our designated Compliance Officer before the Colombian regulatory authorities (SFC/UIAF), while also being the hands-on owner of our AML/CFT framework. You will lead counterparty due diligence, drive the continuous improvement of our SARLAFT/SAGRILAFT controls, and be the main point of contact for all compliance matters in Colombia.

What would you be doing:

  • Counterparty due diligence (DD & DDI): client onboarding and periodic reviews, verifying documentation and identifying ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs).
  • Screening: validation against sanctions lists (OFAC, UN, EU), PEPs, adverse media, and local regulatory lists (UIAF, SFC, among others).
  • Policies & procedures: support the development, documentation, and enhancement of SARLAFT / SAGRILAFT and PTEE controls.
  • Reporting: preparation of internal compliance reports and support for regulatory filings (STRs/UIAF).
  • Research & analysis: support in identifying new typologies, regulatory updates, and risk assessments.

What do you need:

  • Degree in Law, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • 3+ years of experience in Compliance, AML/CFT, or Risk — including at least 1 year in a role eligible to serve as Compliance Officer under Colombian regulation (banking, fintech, or payments sector).
  • Knowledge of SARLAFT, SAGRILAFT, PTEE and the Colombian regulatory framework.
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to handle sensitive information with integrity.
  • Advanced level of English
