This includes activities such as employee onboarding, offboarding, payroll and benefits administration, absence management, employee record-keeping, compliance with labour laws and regulations, and managing employee inquiries and issues. These individuals enable HR processes and systems to run smoothly in order to efficiently support our workforce.Those in human resource operations at PwC will focus on all areas of Human Resources and the business in executing Human Resources related transactions and administrative activities. You will be a primary HR point of contact in the resolution, escalation or routing of inquiries as needed in line with HR protocols and guidelines, as well as be part of a team of problem solvers that help solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

About PwC SATIC and the role
PwC’s South Africa Technology & Innovation Centre (SATIC) is a hub for technological advancement and innovative solutions. The Commercial Modeller role forms part of the Business services / Commercial excellence team, and supports the UK Commercial Excellence Team and the Clients and Markets Executive (CME) in driving commercial performance across the firm. The CME Commercial Team supports the firm’s strategy of sustainable profitable growth by helping the business win profitable work through appropriate pricing strategies, optimal negotiation outcomes and embedded commercial best practice, processes, knowledge and behaviours.
Summary:
The Commercial Modeller will provide commercial analysis and detailed costing and pricing model support for live opportunities, including new business and extensions. The role works with opportunity teams across Lines of Service to gather costs, validate assumptions and ensure that the data and information feeding cost and price models is accurate, relevant and reliable.
Qualifications /Certifications required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Marketing/Economics/Mathematics/Business Science/Commerce or related field.
Experience required:
· Strong Excel and modelling skills. · Understanding of PwC costing and Line of Service financial structure.
· Experience using rate cards.
· Pricing expertise is highly desirable.
· Strong financial, business and commercial acumen.
· Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders in a commercial environment.
Responsibilities of role:
· Provide commercial analysis to support managers and directors within the Commercial Excellence Team in decision-making.
· Own the creation and management of detailed costing and pricing models in support of live opportunities, including new business or extensions.
· Work with opportunity teams within the Lines of Service to gather costs and validate assumptions.
· Ensure the integrity, accuracy and relevance of data and information feeding cost and price models.
· Contribute to the development of the team by sharing best practice modelling skills and relevant analysis with other team members.
Desirable skill sets include:
· Advanced Excel capability and commercial modelling.
· Costing and pricing model development.
· Rate card application and pricing support.
· Commercial analysis and data validation.
· Understanding of PwC costing and Line of Service financial structures.
· Stakeholder challenge and influence in a commercial environmen
Role related attributes:

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Able to work across a dynamic and diverse environment, often to tight deadlines.
