What will you be doing?
The role forms part of the Advanced Wound Care Division and this graduate opportunity will provide valuable, hands-on exposure to the medical sales environment, clinical support and the use of our products in healthcare settings. A key part of the programme will involve spending time in theatre, where you will learn to provide technical information and guidance to healthcare professionals during live surgical procedures.
What will you need to be successful?
- Learn and observe surgical procedures, progressing towards providing assistance in theatre.
- Work closely with experienced Sales Representatives to understand the medical sales process.
- Develop your product knowledge and understanding of surgical techniques and anatomy.
- Provide technical support to surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
- Complete the Medical Sales Representative Learnership Qualification.
- Gain practical experience within a professional sales environment.
- Assist the Clinical Support team with obtaining information required for NPWT motivations.
- Support the Sales team with consignment management.
Successful candidates would need the following:
- A Matric qualification.
- A degree within the Faculty of Health Sciences.
- Computer literacy.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- Willingness to travel within and KwaZulu Natal
