Salary: Up to £40,000.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Clinical Specialist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department.

This is a part time role for 22.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Provide expert MSK assessment and evidence-based treatment for patients with complex, chronic, or post-surgical conditions.
• Develop tailored rehabilitation plans using advanced clinical reasoning, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and pain management strategies.
• Act as the clinical lead for MSK therapy services, providing guidance and support to other clinicians in complex case management.
• Work closely with orthopaedic consultants, sports medicine specialists, GPs, and other allied health professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Provide supervision, mentorship, and clinical education to physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students.
• Maintain high standards of clinical record keeping and documentation, in line with HCPC, CSP, and organisational requirements.
• Keep up to date with emerging MSK research, innovations, and clinical guidelines.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
• Significant post-registration experience with a strong focus on MSK practice.
• Postgraduate qualification or recognised advanced MSK training.
• Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience in supervising staff or contributing to service development.
• Minimum 4 years MSK experience.
