Summary:

The Clinical Outcomes Associate’s (COA) role is to conduct telephonic outreach to Cook Children’s Health Plan (CCHP) members for needs assessment, appointment scheduling, and care gap closure. You will act as a trusted advisor and educator on health care related inquiries. You will guide our members to a better healthcare experience, working every day to make healthcare easy with the service you provide. This role is responsible for serving as the initial point of contact between CCHP and new members.

Additional Information:

The Clinical Outcomes Associate’s (COA) role is to conduct telephonic outreach to Cook Children’s Health Plan (CCHP) members for needs assessment, appointment scheduling, and care gap closure. You will act as a trusted advisor and educator on health care related inquiries. You will guide our members to a better healthcare experience, working every day to make healthcare easy with the service you provide. This role is responsible for serving as the initial point of contact between CCHP and new members.

Education:

  • High School Graduate required.

Experience:

  • 1 year of healthcare customer service experience required, preferably in Managed Care.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) Required. Must pass Spanish test prior to hire.

  • Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates — Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
  • Concern for Others — Being sensitive to others' needs and feelings and understanding and helpful on the job.
  • Customer Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services.
  • Diversity — Able to interact effectively with people of varied educational, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds, skill levels, and values.
  • Documenting/Recording Information — Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form.
  • Time Management — Managing one's own time and the time of others.
