About the opportunity
Mercy Hospitals Victoria Learning Team is seeking a motivated and experienced Nurse to join the Learning Team. The Learning Team is committed to providing quality education by promoting excellence in professional practice through empowering Nurses and Midwifes in the public health sector. The Clinical Nurse Educator will work collaboratively with the Director and Assistant Directors of Nursing and Midwifery Education to support clinical education and training programs.
- Permanent part-time position 32 hours per fortnight
- Flexible working
- Located at Werribee Mercy Hospital
- Clinical Nurse Educator HITH Paeds/Neonatal
What you’ll bring
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Relevant post-registration qualifications and experience in Neonatal/Paediatrics
- Cert 4 in Assessment and Training or working towards
- Knowledge of contemporary Nursing issues
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- You demonstrate innovative approaches to problem-solving
- Flexible to change
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
