Position Summary
Duties & Responsibilities
Provides clinical supervision of students in various clinical experiences and serves as a liaison to assigned clinical facilities.
Evaluates student outcomes throughout the curriculum utilizing assessment data to improve teaching strategies within courses.
Advises and mentors nursing students for success.
Collaborates with faculty within the college and other institutions to meet student needs.
Maintains currency in the field by participating in professional development.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Nursing accepted. Must obtain a Bachelor’s in Nursing within 5 years of employment.
At least two (2) years of clinical nursing experience is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
Must have an unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Mexico.
