Our Clinical Directors in Training (CDITs) assist in monitoring the daily clinical operations of a single clinic location, providing services to learners receiving insurance-funded or private-pay services. The Clinical Director in Training supports a clear line of communication among BCBAs, RBTs, and other team members.
The CDIT works under the supervision and mentorship of the Clinical Director (CD), supporting clinical quality, BCBA performance, treatment delivery, and overall clinical oversight. This role provides additional clinical leadership and support as the clinic and BCBA team continue to grow and scale.

What You’ll Do
- The following are duties and responsibilities that the Clinical Director in Training (CDIT) shall provide:
- Support in the supervision of BCBAs under the supervision of the Clinical Director.
- Provide onboarding and support for newly matriculated BCBAs.
- Implement training curriculum for new staff and monitor the performance of clinical staff on an ongoing basis.
- Facilitate group and individual supervision for staff in the absence of the Clinical Director.
- Attend regional and company meetings as needed.
- Support the Clinical Director in maintaining clinical oversight and quality as the clinic and BCBA team scale.
- Work collaboratively with BCBAs and team members to optimize client Tx Plan to meet clinical recommendations.
- Support the Clinical Director with the center on-call schedule and provide coverage as needed for the pod's BCBAs.
- Support/Complete initial assessments and provide complex-case consultation support to the Clinical Director, when needed.
- Conduct assessments related to the need for behavioral intervention (e.g., preference assessments, staff-performance assessments, functional assessments, etc.).
- Review, analyze, and provide support and feedback to BCBAs regarding treatment plans prior to final submission to the Clinical Director.
- Oversee the design and implementation of skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs developed by BCBAs.
- Oversee the implementation of behavior-analytic programs by RBTs and caregivers.
- Ensure treatment plan objectives and client programming are clinically appropriate, least restrictive, evidence-based and aligned with deficits highlighted from the treatment plan.
- Ensure client programming includes procedures to increase appropriate behaviors and skill repertoires of each client and decrease challenging behaviors.
- Support BCBAs as needed with caregiver training and completion of assessments.
- Maintain a reduced caseload and/or complete initial assessments following company protocol.
- Maintain and ensure deadlines for initial treatment plans, reassessment authorizations, and weekly BCBA utilization of treatment hours.
- Assist the Clinical Director in ensuring that clinical documentation and billing are completed, submitted, and signed by established deadlines for each assigned supervisee.
- Assist the Clinical Director in collecting and analyzing operational and clinical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Support and mentor BCBA Apprentices in collaboration with the Clinical Director and BCBAs, ensuring completion of responsibilities aligned with their apprentice level and program requirements.

Requirements
The Clinical Director in Training (CDIT) requires a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis:
- Current BCBA certification in good standing.
- 5 years of experience in the ABA field (preferred).
- Maintain applicable state licensure, where required.
- Successfully pass drug and background screenings.
- Willingness to sign company NDA, including revisions thereafter.
