We are seeking a talented individual to join our Construction Surety team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We are hiring a Client Executive / Broker into the London Surety Broking team to help support and grow the team’s book of business. The role will combine client servicing, origination, transaction structuring and underwriter engagement, working across a broad range of clients and sectors.

We are particularly interested in candidates with exposure to private equity, banking, credit or structured finance.  Our portfolio is evolving, with increasing exposure to private equity-backed clients and more complex structures. We are therefore looking for someone who can help us think more strategically about how business is structured and presented to underwriters, while also contributing to client development and growth.

We will count on you to:

• Combine strong analytical capability with commercial judgement and relationship skills.
• Support both existing client needs and new business development
• Service client needs across a range of sectors
• Structure surety solutions for clients and transactions
• Review financial and transaction documentation
• Liaise with underwriters and present opportunities effectively to the market
• Work with Marsh’s internal network, to identify and develop opportunities

What you need to have:

• Front office client facing experience in a financial services role
• Strong financial analysis and documentation review skills
• Commercial growth mindset and problem-solving ability
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Confidence working with clients, colleagues and internal/external stakeholders
