POSITION SUMMARY

The Claims Processing Assistant is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the Accounting team with the daily processing and distribution of claims checks and related materials. This role performs hands-on administrative and clerical duties that help ensure claims payments are prepared accurately and mailed in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and willing to assist with a variety of clerical and administrative tasks as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assist with the daily processing of printed claims checks and related materials.
• Sort claims checks and supporting documentation accurately.
• Fold and prepare printed claims materials for mailing.
• Stuff envelopes and prepare completed mailings for distribution.
• Help ensure claims materials are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain an organized work area and handle documents with care.
• Provide general clerical and administrative support to the Accounting team as needed.
• Assist with filing, document organization, copying, scanning, and other routine office tasks as assigned.
• Follow established procedures and maintain appropriate confidentiality when handling company and claims-related information.

• Ability to work independently and follow established instructions and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive administrative tasks accurately and consistently.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with members of the Accounting team.
• Basic computer and general office skills are preferred.
• Ability to work 20 hours per week on-site Franklin, TN.
• Previous accounting or claims experience is not required.

Working hours: 8:30am - 12:30pm Monday - Friday

On-site Franklin, TN
