Êtes-vous un(e) expert(e) en sinistres agréé(e) passionné(e) par l’expérience client et par la prise de décisions justes et éclairées en matière de réclamations? Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) professionnel(le) bilingue (français et anglais) pour se joindre à notre équipe au Québec et jouer un rôle essentiel en aidant les clients à traverser le processus de réclamation en toute confiance.


À titre d’expert(e) en sinistres titulaire d’un permis de l’Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), vous enquêterez, évaluerez, négocierez et réglerez des réclamations d’assurance tout en assurant une conformité complète aux exigences réglementaires provinciales. Vous mettrez à profit votre expertise technique pour gérer des dossiers complexes, soutenir vos collègues et contribuer à l’excellence opérationnelle. Plus important encore, vous ferez partie d’une équipe engagée à offrir un service exceptionnel et à vivre les valeurs d’Assurant en plaçant le client au cœur de chacune de ses actions.

Quelles seront mes responsabilités dans ce poste?

· Enquêter, évaluer et gérer les réclamations d’assurance de l’avis initial jusqu’au règlement final, tout en offrant une expérience client exceptionnelle.
· Examiner les réclamations afin d’en valider l’exactitude, l’exhaustivité, l’admissibilité de la couverture et la conformité aux polices, puis recommander leur approbation, leur refus ou leur escalade au besoin.
· Analyser les renseignements disponibles afin de déterminer les responsabilités, d’évaluer l’exposition au risque et de soutenir des décisions de règlement éclairées.
· Traiter des réclamations complexes et à valeur élevée dans les limites de son autorité, tout en escaladant les dossiers lorsque nécessaire.
· Fournir du coaching technique et du soutien aux membres de l’équipe en matière de traitement des réclamations, d’interprétation des polices et d’exigences réglementaires.
· Collaborer avec les gestionnaires afin d’identifier des occasions d’amélioration des processus, d’efficacité opérationnelle et de meilleurs résultats pour les clients.
· Participer aux revues trimestrielles de leadership afin d’évaluer la performance des réclamations et de soutenir les initiatives stratégiques.
· Effectuer des audits mensuels de dossiers et des examens de la qualité, identifier les tendances et mettre en œuvre des plans d’action correctifs.
· Favoriser une culture d’amélioration continue, de réflexion critique, d’innovation et de responsabilisation.
· Suivre les indicateurs de performance et contribuer à l’atteinte des objectifs départementaux, corporatifs et réglementaires provinciaux.


Quelles sont les exigences requises pour ce poste?

· Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit
· Permis valide et actif d’expert(e) en sinistres de particuliers délivré par l’Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)
· Minimum de trois (3) ans d’expérience en règlement de sinistres automobiles
· Excellente connaissance des polices d’assurance, des enquêtes en sinistres et des pratiques de règlement
· Expérience avec Microsoft Office 365 et les applications fonctionnant dans un environnement Windows
· Solides compétences en analyse, résolution de problèmes et prise de décision, avec un souci du détail et de l’exactitude
· Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités dans un environnement dynamique et en évolution rapide
· Esprit collaboratif et fort engagement envers le travail d’équipe et la satisfaction de la clientèle

Bilingual (French & English) Claims Adjuster - Quebec (AMF Licensed)

We're looking for a bilingual (French & English) professional to join our team in Quebec and play a critical role in helping customers navigate the claims process with confidence.


As an AMF-licensed Claims Adjuster, you'll investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve insurance claims while ensuring full compliance with provincial regulations. You'll leverage your technical expertise to handle complex claims, provide guidance to colleagues, and help drive operational excellence. What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Investigate, evaluate, and manage insurance claims from initial notice through final resolution while delivering exceptional customer experience.
  • Review claims for accuracy, completeness, coverage eligibility, and policy compliance, making recommendations for approval, denial, or referral.
  • Analyze available information to determine liability, assess risk exposure, and support sound claim decisions.
  • Handle complex and high-value claims within established authority levels, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Provide technical coaching and guidance to team members on claim handling, policy interpretation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements, operational efficiencies, and enhanced customer outcomes.
  • Participate in quarterly leadership reviews to evaluate claims performance and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct monthly file audits and quality reviews, identifying trends and implementing corrective action plans.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, critical thinking, innovation, and accountability.
  • Monitor performance metrics and contribute to achieving departmental, corporate, and provincial regulatory goals.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both written and verbal
  • Current and active Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) Personal Lines Claims Adjuster License
  • A minimum of 3 years of Automotive claims adjusting experience
  • Proven understanding of insurance policies, claim investigations, and settlement practices
  • Experience using Microsoft Office 365 and Windows-based applications
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills and attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset with a strong focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction

Pay Range:

$45,100.00 - $74,600.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
