The Job: 

The CI Lead position is essential for driving the ongoing enhancement of our business processes and the success of our manufacturing strategy. The CI Lead will identify and prioritize efficiency opportunities, converting them into tangible business improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Process improvements and enhancements will be institutionalised through structured standards, ensuring continued success, skills sharing, and CI toolkit knowledge-base training for all Warrington team members. This position is critical for aligning business efforts to eliminate duplication in CI strategies, strengthen problem-solving capabilities, and achieve improvements in core skills and SPX KPIs.

 You’ll get to:    

·        Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance in plant operations.

·        Train and support plant teams in standard work, problem-solving methods, and continuous improvement best practices.

·        Analyse manufacturing processes to identify waste, bottlenecks, and opportunities for efficiency and throughput improvement.

·        Partner with production, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams to implement process improvements and corrective actions

• Track and report key performance metrics such as OEE, scrap, downtime, cycle time, and overall plant performance.

About You:

·        Experience with structured Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement in a Production System (i.e. TPS) environment.

·        Six Sigma and Lean Practitioner Certified Demonstrated ability to create and deliver improvement technique training to others.

·        Data handling, data analytics and statistical information validation. IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 Internal Audit Experience.

• Project Management Experience Knowledge of SAP or MRP/ERP systems.

·        Strong communication skills and a dynamic approach to Continuous Improvement.
