About this Change Manager role at RAC WA
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Change Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a passion for guiding people through change.
Working within RAC’s Insurance Division, you will partner with project teams, business leaders and stakeholders to deliver a varied portfolio of project and operational change initiatives. The role will also provide change management support to the Digital Experience Program (DEP) and other enterprise initiatives as required.
You will work across a broad range of projects and operational change activities, adapting your approach to suit different business needs, delivery environments and levels of change impact.
This is a 12-month maximum-term position, based in our Wellington Street Office (West Perth), with the possibility of extension based on business needs, performance and portfolio requirements.
What will you be doing?
Planning, developing and delivering change management strategies and plans tailored to the needs, scale and complexity of each initiative.
Supporting a varied portfolio of strategic, project and operational change activities across RAC’s Insurance Division and DEP
Partnering with project teams, business leaders and stakeholders to understand change impacts, readiness and support requirements.
Contributing to the successful delivery of large-scale projects while leading the implementation of smaller change initiatives across the organisation.
Providing practical advice on change management approaches, tools and techniques.
Developing and delivering communications tailored to different stakeholder and audience needs.
Identifying training, communication and other change interventions required to support readiness and adoption.
Building strong stakeholder relationships and navigating complex business environments to support effective change outcomes.
Delivering change management outputs that meet project, portfolio and business requirements, and tracking progress against agreed success measures.
Contributing to knowledge sharing and the continued development of change management capability across RAC.
What are we looking for in you?
Proven experience supporting and implementing change across a range of projects, operational initiatives or business requirements.
Practical knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools, with the judgement to adapt your approach to different contexts.
Experience working across multiple initiatives and managing changing or competing priorities.
The ability to operate effectively in uncertain or evolving environments, creating structure and maintaining progress despite ambiguity.
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including the confidence to navigate differing perspectives and have constructive, sometimes challenging conversations.
A collaborative and flexible approach, with a willingness to support broader team priorities as well as independently lead change activity.
Experience developing and delivering communications tailored to different audience needs.
Resilience, sound judgement and the ability to quickly understand new business areas and operating environments.
Experience working in regulated or agile delivery environments would be advantageous.
Qualifications in a Change Management discipline or methodology are desirable but not essential.
