ChristianaCare HomeHealth is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team. This position provides in-home occupational therapy services to patients throughout Townsend, Dover, and Frederica, Delaware, helping individuals maximize their independence, safety, and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.
As a valued member of our interdisciplinary HomeHealth team, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists, nurses, physical therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.

Position Highlights:
- Provide occupational therapy treatments and interventions under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Assist patients in improving functional abilities, self-care skills, mobility, and home safety.
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.
- Accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Travel throughout the Townsend, Dover, and Frederica service areas to provide patient care in the home setting.
Required Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a COTA in the State of Delaware
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to meet HomeHealth travel requirement
- Previous HomeHealth experience preferred, at least one year of work experience as a COTA required
