Facility: Valley Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center 
Location: Castro Valley, CA (Next to Eden Hospital) 
Compensation: $22.50 to $25.00 DOE 
Shifts: On-Call - PM Shifts, NOC Shifts

Your Role & Responsibilities: 

As a CNA at Valley Pointe, you are the heart of our resident care. Your daily impact includes: 

  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and engaging them in daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility. 

  • Assisting with transfers, ambulation and repositioning using proper safety techniques. 

  • Taking and recording vital signs 

  • Monitoring residents and reporting any changes to the licensed nurses. 

  • Assisting nurses in implementing personalized care plans. 

  • Providing accurate and timely documentation of the high-quality care you provide. 

  • Ensuring residents' needs and desires are met quickly, appropriately, and with a smile. 

  • Maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment for the residents. 

  • Providing compassionate emotional support and building positive relationships with residents and families. 

  • Following all facility policies and infection control procedures,

Qualifications 

  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply. 

  • A valid, current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License in California in good standing. 

  • A valid, current CPR/BLS certification 

  • A compassionate, "resident-first" attitude. 

  • Strong communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative, high-standard environment.
