Certified Nursing Assistant CNA Home Health PRN
Give Patients the Support They Need to Stay at Home

Elara Caring is hiring a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support home health patients throughout Portland and surrounding communities. You will provide personal, one-on-one care that helps patients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they call home.

What You’ll Do
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Support safe movement, positioning, transfers, and mobility
- Help with daily activities according to the patient’s Plan of Care
- Observe and report changes in a patient’s condition
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
- Communicate with nurses, caregivers, and other members of the care team
- Complete accurate and timely visit documentation
- Protect patient dignity, privacy, and independence

What You’ll Bring
- Current CNA certification in Maine
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
- Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to safe, high-quality patient care
- Ability to work independently in patients’ homes
- Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
- Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.
