About this Certified Home Health Aide Training Course role at BAYADA Home Health Care
BAYADA CERTIFIED HOME HEALTH AIDE COURSE
BAYADA Home Health Care of Jersey City is offering a three-week certified home health aide training course! (two weeks online and one week in person)
Students will learn:
- How to provide compassionate, individualized care to your clients
- How to give bed baths, use mechanical lifts, provide skin care, mouth care, denture care, incontinence and peri care, and so much more!
- Effective communication skills
- How to assess your client's needs and document them appropriately
- Infection prevention protocol, including how to use proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
Job Responsibilities for Certified Home Health Aides - CHHAs:
- Assisting in daily living activities
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Range of motion / exercises
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance
- Errands / escorts to appointments
