At Albert Bartlett, we're looking for an ambitious and analytically minded Category Executive (Graduate) to join our Brand & Marketing team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across category management, brand, commercial and new product development while building the skills needed to progress into a future Category Manager role. Based on the role profile attached to Graduate positions 2027, the position supports category management activities across Albert Bartlett brands and retailer own-label products.

As a Category Executive Graduate, you'll play a key role in helping the business understand category, shopper and sales performance by transforming data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analysing category data from Worldpanel, retailer EPOS platforms and other insight sources.
• Monitoring sales performance, market share, pricing, promotions, distribution and shopper trends.
• Producing weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports that identify opportunities, risks and market developments.
• Supporting category reviews, customer presentations and retailer meetings.
• Creating clear, commercially relevant insights for Brand, Marketing, Commercial and NPD teams.
• Supporting evidence-based product development and launch evaluations.
• Working alongside retail partners and internal stakeholders to drive category growth.
• Exploring opportunities to improve reporting, analysis and ways of working through approved AI and digital technologies.

Requirements

• A degree (or be due to graduate) in Business, Marketing, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Retail Management or a related discipline.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• The ability to interpret complex information and turn it into practical recommendations.
• A genuine interest in brands, consumers, retailers and the food industry.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A collaborative approach and confidence building relationships across different teams.
• An interest in emerging technologies, including AI and data analytics.
