We’re looking for a Casual Water Cart Driver to join our team at Luggate Quarry for the busy summer season.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll help keep our site running safely and smoothly by managing dust suppression across the quarry. You’ll work with a good crew, back each other up, and play an important part in delivering Good Work during one of our busiest times of year.

If you enjoy practical outdoor work, like being part of a team, and are keen for casual summer work in a relaxed vibe with serious standards, this could be a great fit.

Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

• Operate the water cart safely and efficiently across the quarry site.
• Support dust suppression activities to help maintain a safe working environment.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance reporting.
• Work closely with site crews and supervisors to respond to changing site needs.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and site procedures at all times.

Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with

• A full and current Class 2 licence, with water cart or similar heavy vehicle experience preferred.
• A strong commitment to safety and wellbeing.
• Comfort working outdoors in summer conditions and around active quarry operations.
• A reliable, team-focused approach and willingness to pitch in where needed.
• The ability to carry out the inherent requirements of the role and adapt to changing daily priorities.
