Impact in this role:
The role is responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of customer payment applications.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Responsible for day-to-day customer payment applications.
- Processes incoming payments: Lockbox, ACH/EFT, and Wires.
- Reviews all lockbox deposits. Processes unmatched payments.
- Balances daily cash receipts: ACH, Wires and Netting receipts.
- Resolve unapplied cash by working with the Credit Department.
- Work closely with AR Specialists to ensure cash is applied quickly and accurately.
- Entry of invoice information into customer portals as needed.
- Record Electronic Deposits.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned by Credit & AR Supervisor.
- All employees are expected to maintain and contribute to the QMS.
Desired Traits
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or related fields preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in Cash Application
- Must have good aptitude for numbers.
- MS Office Suite Skills: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Strong problem solving & customer service skills
- Good Communications and written skills required.
- Detail orientated and accuracy to work on multiple responsibilities.
