JOB SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to fully coordinate and monitor all functions associated with
ensuring compliance with Werner Enterprises’ contractual insurance requirements contained in various brokerage, logistics, trailer interchange and other contracts, including maintenance of contract database, follow-up with carriers, insurance agents and underwriters, generating and monitoring compliance reports and maintenance of physical files for contract administration staff.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Contacts underwriters, agents and/or named insured regarding missing insurance coverage and defective insurance certificates.

• Reviews all incoming certificates of insurance for completeness and conformity to established contractual requirements.

• Maintain all insurance and compliance information in contract database and hard files using Microsoft Word and Access.

• Run Access database queries and reports to monitor compliance.

• Generate form letters requesting compliance and advising of contract cancellation through Access database and MS Word mail merge routines.

• Assist Contracts Secretary in other clerical functions as needed.

• Answer phones, route calls and take messages as back-up for Contract Secretary.

• Performs other duties as assigned by contract administration staff.
