Job Overview
Landscape East & West is seeking a skilled and dependable exterior carpenter to join our landscape construction team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Coordinate the installation of exterior carpentry projects (fences, gates, pergolas, attached & detached structures, trellises, decks, planters boxes).
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to understand specifications and layout.
- Assemble structural components including framing, railings, stairs, and decking surfaces.
- Follow all company safety procedures, support crew compliance with standards.
- Operate power tools safely and efficiently.
- Complete equipment & vehicle inspections.
- Perform other landscape construction duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of exterior carpentry experience.
- Possess a valid, insurable driver's license
- Willingness to learn, follow direction, and work collaboratively.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Technical training in carpentry is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 90 lbs repeatedly throughout work day.
- Able to navigate through clients property on uneven/rough terrain.
- Able to drive company vehicle with trailer.
