About this Carpenter – 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyperson role at Ledcor

Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry work, including framing, forming, finishing, and concrete-related tasks
- Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Ensure all work meets Ledcor's safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors and crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Identify and report potential safety hazards or construction issues
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area
- Support other site activities as required
Qualifications:
- 4th Year Carpentry Apprentice or certified Journeyperson Carpenter
- Experience working on commercial, institutional, industrial, or residential construction projects
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Valid Fall Protection and First Aid certifications are assets
Work Conditions:
- Monday to Friday, with potential overtime on weekdays and weekends
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions year-round
- Must be willing to assist with various site activities as needed
- Candidates must reside in the Greater Edmonton Region
Competitive Hourly Wages:
- 4th Year Apprentice Carpenter: $41.28/hour
- Journeyperson Carpenter: $45.83/hour
The hourly rates listed above reflect wages after union dues have been deducted. All other applicable statutory deductions will apply.
