Role Overview
As a Candidate Engagement & Resourcing Consultant, you will act as the first point of contact for active industry talent, turning candidate curiosity into meaningful career conversations. By identifying skilled professionals, building rapport, and mapping out their career aspirations, you will directly fuel the firm's growth and connect top-tier talent with standout professional opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Active Sourcing & Outreach: Conduct daily targeted searches on key recruitment platforms (such as Indeed) to connect with recently active accounting and legal talent.
- Persuasive Messaging: Craft and send tailored, engaging messages to prospective candidates regarding active career paths and market opportunities.
- Inbound Engagement: Rapidly respond to candidate inquiries and conduct warm phone screenings to evaluate candidate needs and motivations.
- Consultative Discovery: Ask targeted questions to uncover key candidate data, including current roles, technical skill sets, professional qualifications, salary expectations, preferred work arrangements, and notice periods.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Articulate our firm's specialized value proposition, building trust and providing candidates with an exceptional first impression.
- Seamless Handoffs: Accurately document all candidate details in the company CRM and execute structured handovers to Senior Consultants for live job placement.
- Performance Excellence: Consistently hit and exceed daily/weekly activity targets related to messaging volume, candidate calls, and qualified introductions.
Requirements
Qualifications (Must Have):
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in recruitment, outbound sales, customer acquisition, or account management is beneficial.
- Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with the public accounting, legal, or professional services sectors.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to conduct professional phone interviews.
- Relationship Building: Natural ability to establish rapport quickly, ask insightful questions, and build trust with passive and active job seekers.
- Organization & Drive: Highly organized, goal-oriented, and thriving in a structured environment with clear activity and performance metrics.
- Technical Aptitude: Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn ATS/CRM systems and leverage online recruitment platforms effectively.
