Partner with the best 

As a Cable Repair operator, you will support the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) systems. You will work closely with Installation Engineers, Service Delivery Coordinators, rig personnel, and customers to ensure safe and effective execution of field operations. 

As a Cable Repair operator, you will be responsible for: 

• Spooling electrical power cable onto cable reels during ESP retrieval operations. 

• Banding electrical cable to tubing during ESP installation activities. 

• Conducting field analysis and testing of cable strings following well retrieval operations. 

• Performing routine maintenance on cable service equipment, trucks, and trailers. 

• Identifying equipment issues and supporting troubleshooting and corrective actions. 

• Completing DOT logbooks, inspection forms, and required operational documentation. 

• Supporting cable repair activities and equipment laydown operations as requested by customers. 

• Ensuring compliance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Core Values. 

• Communicating effectively with customers and adapting to changing operational requirements. 

• Assisting in the execution of ESP installation and Artificial Lift operations. 

Fuel your passion 

To be successful in this role you will: 

• Have a Technical Diploma in a related field. 

• Have 3-4 years of experience in ESP installations and Artificial Lift operations. 

• Be fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken. 

• Demonstrate strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 

• Have the ability to work effectively in field environments and remote locations. 

• Have strong communication and teamwork skills. 

• Be willing to work flexible schedules and travel as required. 

• Be able to work in Benghazi
