Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the buying process for spare parts, materials, and sub-contractors.

• Drive procurement activities on assigned commodities to deliver a competitive advantage within the Danish market and apply advanced sourcing and procurement best practices towards operational excellence.
• Issue purchase orders and actively support the full procure to-pay cycle.
• Follow-up PO acknowledgement, delivery status and solve delivery problems and schedule changes.
• Create, Implement, and Improve key performance metrics such as on-time delivery.
• Utilize Lean methodologies to improve proposal process.
• Develop a strong relationship with Project Management EHS, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Quality, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead and maintain meetings, reviews and communicate about project status.
• Effectively collaborate with regional stakeholders and global sourcing members to interpret requirements, define, develop, and implement sourcing and procurement strategies to further enhance business performance and outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum experience in procurement, supplier management and contract negotiation.
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of SAP (MM module/ FI module).
• Knowledge of OSCAR tool (PR/PO creation).
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to develop key internal and external relationships and influence at all levels.

Desired Characteristics

• Solid M/S office skills including excel formulas, v-look up and pivot table knowledge. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation and report preparation skills.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision in the cross-cultural environment across different geographical areas.
