THE JOB:

The primary responsibility of the Busperson at Nine Fine Irishmen inside New York, New York is to uphold the restaurant’s exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest readiness. This role is responsible for maintaining the dining room, storerooms, food pickup areas, and beverage stations, ensuring all spaces are fully stocked, meticulously maintained, and prepared to support seamless service. By creating a clean, organized, and welcoming environment, the Bus Person plays a vital role in delivering an outstanding guest experience.

THE STARTING RATE: $14.6737 Hourly + Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Work with servers to ensure proper guest service
• Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, fold napkins properly and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas
• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items needed
• Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles
• Coordinate table availability and constantly communicates with Server, Hostess, and Management to ensure tables are turned efficiently
• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed
• Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris
• Perform other job-related duties as requested

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be at least 21+ years of age
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• 1+ Years of prior relevant experience as a bus or food runner
• Experience working in a similar resort setting
