You'll be engaging with senior decision-makers across multiple sectors, identifying organisations with upcoming projects, and creating opportunities through a mixture of market intelligence, buyer intent data, CRM tools and proactive outreach.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Identify and generate new business opportunities across target markets.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Generate appointments and sales opportunities through proactive outbound activity.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Research target organisations and identify buying signals.
- Approach Facilities Directors, Estates Managers, Property Directors, Procurement Teams, Contractors and Architects.
- Conduct professional, value-led conversations that convert prospects into opportunities.
- Create tailored outreach campaigns using multiple channels.
CRM & Pipeline Management
- Manage prospect activity through HubSpot CRM.
- Maintain accurate records and pipeline data.
- Track opportunities, conversations and next actions.
- Ensure qualified opportunities are effectively handed over to the sales team.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor construction projects, refurbishment activity and market trends.
- Use platforms such as LinkedIn, Cognism and HubSpot to identify opportunities.
- Gather market insight and competitor intelligence to support business growth.
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:
- Proven success within Business Development, Lead Generation, Sales Development Representative (SDR) or outbound sales roles.
- A genuine passion for winning new business.
- Confidence making outbound calls and engaging senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness and an ability to identify opportunities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Resilience, determination and the ability to handle objections positively.
- CRM experience (HubSpot experience would be advantageous).
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
We're open to candidates from a variety of sectors who can demonstrate a strong track record of proactive business development and generating new opportunities.
