The Brand Program Manager plays an essential role in growing talent in our business through collaboration and sharing best practices with the North American and Global Brand team. You know how to be curious about opportunities and how to be real with feedback and support.

You’ll be part of a team that lead what the brand looks, feels and sounds like at Lush, concepting and providing marketing campaigns and solutions to grow the brand and excite audiences. 

As the Program Manager for the team, you’ll be responsible for the oversight of all work currently in progress, as well as a good view of incoming work. You'll be communicating with stakeholders across the business to take briefs, establish requirements, manage expectations, get feedback and support a team of marketers, PRs and creatives in executing the marketing and brand strategy. 

Optimizing performance to the Nth degree; the Program Manager must react realistically to objectives, managing resourcing and road mapping accordingly. You will be responsible for guiding and steering projects and creating a strategic workflow to get the work done effectively. 

You’ll be taking on the project management of some of the key initiatives, facilitating task prioritization and delegation along with working to unblock and support the Brand team to ensure they are on track and delivering. With a rapidly changing work environment, you’ll be comfortable with priorities and requirements changing, and thrive in taking on challenges as they appear.

You will undertake the following Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and support the team of Brand Project Managers in North America, motivating them to successfully contribute and grow in their roles 
  • Partner with the Finance department to set quarterly and annual forecasts for marketing spend
  • Manage and maintain budget tracking associated with all Brand programs, liaise regularly with the Finance department and Head of Marketing to reconcile costs   
  • Drive the prioritization of campaigns and product launches by evaluating business needs and assigning appropriate resources, focusing the team on the work that will provide the greatest impact  
  • Manage the overall workflow of all Brand projects through an agile and iterative process with the team of Brand Project Managers 
  • Oversee the development and delivery of all marketing initiatives, such as retail and digital campaigns and product launches 
  • Build collaborative relationships with different departments across the North American business to facilitate the execution of cross-functional initiatives 
  • Establish and maintain processes and procedures for implementing all brand programs
  • Manage relationships with agencies, third parties, vendors and contractors when project requirements fall outside internal offerings 
  • Take an out-of-the-traditional-box approach, be disruptive in the industry and bring a pioneering new approach to brand programs at Lush. 
  • Develop strong relationships with the global Lush team to understand the global direction and manage local implementation  to have maximum impact.
  • Regularly meet with global Brand departments across the Lush Group to share ideas and plan effective globally relevant strategies
  • Work closely with Marketing, PR and Creative Leads to set clear and measurable objectives for all Brand programs
  • Report results to North American Leadership and Group team, highlighting opportunities for system or process improvements 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 - 7 years of proven program/project management experience within a brand or creative function 
  • A track record of delivering marketing projects at scale by working with multidisciplinary and global teams.
  • A critical mind, and the ability to weigh up the pros and cons of a solution from all angles.
  • Motivating leader who can effectively engage, lead and coach a talented team.
  • Great at facilitating meetings by organizing attendees, agenda, purpose and outcomes.
  • A proven background in delivering dynamic projects that have a positive impact 
  • Experience of managing budgets
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, flexible working culture.
  • Outstanding ability to cultivate successful relationships and networks, both internally and externally.
  • Highly adaptable multi-tasker, detail-oriented self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced environment while still managing multiple priorities.

Preferred:

  • Certified Project Manager/Program Manager or equivalent 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience

Location: Successful candidate will ideally be located in Vancouver, British Columbia or surrounding areas, but we are open to the successful candidate being remote, located within Canada.

This salary range is based on an assessment of the local market and may vary depending on the successful candidate's location. This range is based on base salary and does not include additional bonus program and total rewards eligibility.

Base Salary Range
$90,900—$101,000 CAD
