We are recruiting for a Branch Sales Manager, to join our thriving Frazer branch in Newton Abbot (TQ12 6SZ)
This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm
As Branch Sales Manager, you will drive the commercial performance of the branch, leading the sales team and growing customer relationships across the utilities and infrastructure market. The branch supports customers across water and wastewater, gas, power, telecoms and fibre, highways and civils, supplying the products and solutions needed to deliver essential infrastructure projects.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading and managing the branch sales team, ensuring the achievement of sales and margin targets, with a focus on growing branch ledgers.
Driving sustainable margin growth by identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities.
Working as part of the branch leadership team to grow the business and develop the team.
Working closely with the Branch Operations Manager to ensure business growth is achieved safely and customer needs are met with high satisfaction levels.
Building and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers, ensuring Frazer is at the forefront of new product launches in the industry.
Ensuring the branch delivers excellent customer service locally and nationally, as defined by the customer.
Supporting and promoting a strong health and safety culture to ensure a safe working environment for colleagues and customers.
Identifying and actioning individual and team training needs to enhance performance and development.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in utilities, civils, infrastructure or specialist merchanting, ideally with knowledge of sectors such as water, gas, power or telecoms.
Experience leading and developing a sales team, with a proven track record of delivering sales growth and building strong customer relationships.
A commercial mindset, with an understanding of margin, account development and new business opportunities.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
An understanding of Health & Safety, good PC skills and basic financial awareness.
Customer Service - High levels of customer satisfaction, with frequently returning customers and growing live accounts.
