The Boundary Map & As-Built Manager will take ownership of legal boundary maps, transfer maps and as-built information across the project portfolio, ensuring property boundaries, site layouts, roads, services and ownership extents are accurately represented and verified against completed works.

The role is the central point of coordination between Site Teams, Design Teams, the Legal Team, surveyors and external mapping consultants, driving timely unit completions, property transfers and land registration requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve legal boundary maps across active developments, checking against planning permissions, land registry mapping, project drawings and verified site conditions.

• Manage collection and review of as-built drawings, DWG/DXF files, survey data and site records; coordinate corrective action where submissions are incomplete or inaccurate.
• Ensure transfer maps correctly represent common areas, parking, bin stores and associated ownership arrangements for property transfers and legal close-out.
• Maintain document control, revision history and an audit-ready record of all approvals, decisions and outstanding actions.
• Act as the central point of contact for mapping status, queries and escalation across all active developments.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Architects, Design Teams, BCAR Coordinators, Legal and external mapping consultants; drive resolution of discrepancies to agreed timescales.
• Monitor mapping programmes and escalate risks affecting practical completion, legal completion or unit handover.
• Develop and maintain checklists, trackers and standard operating procedures for boundary map and as-built review across the portfolio.
• Prepare regular status reports highlighting progress, overdue submissions, key risks and recurring issues.
• Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time

Requirements

• Relevant qualification or equivalent technical experience in Geomatics, Land Surveying, Construction or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings, site layouts, surveys and property boundaries.
• Competence in AutoCAD and the review of DWG, DXF and PDF drawing formats.
• Experience coordinating technical information across multiple projects and stakeholders, whether in construction, infrastructure, property development, an architectural practice, engineering consultancy or land surveying firm.
• Understanding of BCAR, project completion and handover processes.
• Experience with legal mapping, land registration or property transfer requirements in Ireland is desirable.
