Job Summary
The BIM/VDC Drafter is an entry-level opportunity for an individual looking to build a career in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) within the electrical construction industry. Reporting to the VDC team, this position will support lead coordinators and project teams by developing and updating electrical models, generating shop drawings, and incorporating field redlines using Autodesk Revit and other BIM/VDC software.

The role provides hands-on exposure to construction documentation, model coordination, and collaboration between design and field teams, with opportunities to develop technical skills and grow within the VDC discipline.
The ideal candidate has foundational experience with Autodesk Revit, a strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn electrical construction modeling and coordination practices. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work effectively as part of a small, team-oriented group. This is an in-office position designed for someone eager to learn from experienced team members, contribute to project success, and develop a long-term career in BIM/VDC.
