Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Process and validate high-volume supplier invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and compliance with company policies.
• Generate accurate and timely customer invoices based on contractual terms, project milestones, purchase orders, and supporting documentation.
• Review billing documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with customer requirements.
• Reconcile invoice discrepancies and investigate billing issues with customers, vendors, operations, and accounting teams.
• Maintain accurate customer and vendor account records, including charges, payments, credits, and account balances.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and collaborate with Credit and Accounting to support collections and account resolution activities.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities through accurate billing, documentation, and reconciliations.
• Maintain organized records and provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance billing accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Credit, and Accounting teams to ensure accurate financial transactions and customer invoicing.
• Assist with additional administrative, purchasing, and sales support functions as assigned.
• Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.

JOB SCOPE

This position serves in the capacity of the Billing Specialist – Generator Sales. General discretion and judgment are exercised routinely in the execution of job duties. If errors in judgment or professional execution of responsibilities are made, the consequences to the to the Department can be serious.
