Lyten Poland is seeking a skilled and customer‑focused a BESS Commissioning Service Engineer to support commissioning, service, and rework activities for our advanced products. This role is highly mobile, hands‑on, and essential to ensuring reliable performance of Lyten systems at customer sites worldwide.

As a BESS Commissioning Service Engineer you will travel extensively to perform corrective and preventive maintenance, and when not traveling, you will support repairs, reworks, and remote diagnostics from our Service Workshop in Gdańsk factory. This position requires strong technical expertise, professionalism, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform service, commissioning, and rework of Lyten products at customer sites and at the Lyten facility in Gdańsk.

  • Prepare and maintain detailed records of site observations, testing procedures, and checklists.

  • Conduct risk assessments and prepare service reports for all service and rework activities.

  • Update and organize customer service logs and documentation.

  • Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and propose effective corrective actions.

  • Interact directly with customers to resolve technical problems and ensure proper follow‑up.

  • Analyse and review findings to determine the best solution.

  • Maintain and promote a strong Health & Safety culture.

  • Train customers on the operation and maintenance of Lyten products.

  • Perform additional tasks assigned by the manager as business needs evolve.

Specific Skills

  • Experience in customer technical support.

  • Experience working with high‑voltage power electronics products.

  • Excellent communication, self‑presentation skills, and a strong customer service mindset.

  • Confidence, patience, politeness, tact, and diplomacy in challenging situations.

  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Valid electrical permissions (SEP E).

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Electrical and/or mechanical knowledge (documentation, drawings).

  • Knowledge of control systems software and hardware.

  • Strong understanding of battery systems (software and hardware).

  • Willingness to travel up to 50–70%.

  • Good command of English (B2).
