Qualifications:

• Current Montana Cosmetology License required.
• Minimum of one (1) year Cosmetologist work experience required.
• Promotes excellence through setting high standards and providing high quality outcomes.
• Ability to act with integrity, kindness, and exhibit empathy.
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
• Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
• Possess basic computer skills and ability to learn other software as needed.

Job Specific Duties:

• Professionally greets clients upon arrival.
• Performs beauty procedures for clients to include; cut, shampoo, and style
• Exhibits excellence in the use of all equipment to include, but may not be limited to; scissors, clippers, curlers, straighteners, hair dryers, etc.
• Maintains a clean workstation and sterilizes all tools per health and safety requirements.
• Exhibits a willingness to listen to clients in order to provide the desired outcome.
• Assists in monitoring inventory of supplies and submits request for replacement per department procedure.

Shift:

Schedule:  Part-time 20 hr/wk

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
