Why This Role?
- Batcher position based out of Dalby.
- Hourly rate: ranging from $35.03 to $37.90 depending on experience.
- Overtime: time and a half after 8 hours, double time after 10 hours.
- 45 to 55 average weekly hours, Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work as needed.
- Enjoy daily variety with batching support, loader work, stock take, and yard duties.
- 10-day comprehensive training program for all new starters.
Position Duties:
- Batcher in charge
- Operating the front-end loader (loader experience preferred).
- Completing stock takes.
- Performing pre-start checks.
- Yard duties which include general site maintenance and housekeeping.
- Staff rosters and allocation of duties.
- Supporting purchasing activities.
- Ensuring safety and quality procedures are followed at all times.
About You
- A current Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain).
- Good computer skills; SAP or batching experience beneficial but not essential.
- External operator experience for maintenance or heavy TFRs (preferred but not essential).
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to adapt to change quickly and follow processes and procedures.
- Safety‑first attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean, presentable truck.
